and the town's Development Review Board plans to review the proposal tonight.
Costco has been adding gas stations to many of its stores nationwide. The Colchester proposal would include six gas pumps that would allow 12 motorists to fill up simultaneously. The gas pumps would be available only to customers who are Costco members.
Costco would also build a 14,000-square-foot addition to the warehouse store. The company would also extend Lower Mountain View Road to Hercules Drive.
Tonight's meeting is a continuation of a review the board began Feb. 13.
According to paperwork contained in Costco's application to the town, the warehouse giant wants to extend Lower Mountain View Road to improve traffic flow near the store. Costco would also improve landscaping in the store's parking lot.
