Kid's Alive
Helping inner city children escape the cycle of sin and despair. KA blasts off
every Saturday morning with games, songs, prayer, an exciting Bible lesson, and lunch.
Follow-up takes the Gospel into their homes.
Below are activities that occur during a meeting. If you point to any photo, you will get a description of the photo. If you "CLICK" on any photo the photo will ENLARGE.

The leader of this ministry is Pastor Doug Hoffman, of Four Square Church.
(Standing next to Doug is his wife, Lorainne.)
After the project of the day, the children gather around to answer questions.
Lorainne will ask questions from the bible, last week's sermon, and reciting of the
memory verse, etc.
If the children answer the question right, they get a turn at tossing pennies onto a
cardboard item with different size sheets, for points. The smaller the sheet, the more
points it is worth.
Next is singing, which is done to guitar music.
After Music is the teaching time. Doug Hoffman likes to use a lot of illustration during
his sermons to the children.
And what would be the point of a ministry if it didn't point people back to Jesus and Salvation.
Shortly after noon-time lunch is served. Only it isn't fishes and loaves of bread.
This day the children had cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.
